From Einstein to HSU: Corey Gray Talks Gravitational Waves

Corey Gray can keep a secret.

When the Humboldt State alum returned to campus to speak to students  (see below) about his work at the Laser Inferomter Gravitational-Wave Observatory [LIGO], he couldn't reveal that he was sitting on one of the biggest physics discoveries in a generation.

When he returned to campus in April to attend the HSU Big Time and Social Gathering, he was sitting on another physics announcement. During the taping of this interview, Gray's colleagues at LIGO were busy confirming a second gravitational wave detection.

In this interview, Gray discusses his time at HSU, what it's like being a part of Einstein's legacy, and how to keep a really big secret.
