Dance and Drum in Humboldt and the Blue Lake Casino and Hotel bring you the 7th Humboldt Steel Pan and Percussion Festival.
Saturday March 25th starting at 5pm and Sunday the 26th starting at 12pm, in the Sapphire Palace, local bands play a free concert to celebrate the community through these instruments. Local schools from Blue Lake, Fieldbrook, Trinidad, and Arcata High will play along side the Humboldt Calypso Band from Cal Poly Humboldt.

We are welcoming a traveling school based band, Pandemonium, from San Rafael. Papa Haole and The Fleas will also play a set, as well as the Caribbean Jazz Project. Drumming performances from Humboldt Taiko and The Synapsis Drum Brigade. Bring your Djembe for Saturday evening’s West African Drum Jam.
