In a report that originally aired on KHSU Thursday morning, we reported that the Area 1 Agency on Aging may dissolve itself.
That is not true. What *is* true is that because of insufficient funding, the agency may stop providing the portion of its services that are part of its state contract. The Agency will continue to provide its other services to Humboldt and Del Norte counties. We apologize for this mistake.
