Chronologically Gifted: Blase Bonpane on Activism

When asked about what has sustained him over his lifetime of activism, Blase Bonpane said, "The thing that saves you is like-minded people, the community of solidarity, children, grandchildren."  Blase is the director of Office of the Americas which is described as “a non-profit organization (founded in 1983 in Los Angeles) dedicated to furthering the cause of international justice and peace through broad based educational programs.”  He is an author, the host of the radio program "World Focus" which airs on Pacifica Radio station KPFK in Los Angeles, and a lifelong activist who has led investigative delegations and traveled extensively on peace missions, among many other activities.
