Cal Fire and Butte County officials updated the community on Thursday night. They stated more than 600 people are now reported missing in Butte County. Additionally, seven more bodies were found. In total, 63 people are dead. This number could change as new information comes out from the Butte County Sheriff's Office.

The Camp Fire has burned 140,000 acres and is 40 percent contained. Cal Fire reports 9,700 homes have burned and more than 15,000 structures are threatened. Meanwhile, firefighters say many portions of the fire are burning in steep and rugged terrain making direct fire attack difficult. They've established containment lines to hold. Firefighters will continue to patrol the interior of the fire for hot spots.

A Camp Fire Evacuation and Repopulation map was created by Cal Fire and is updated periodically. You can see the map through this link
