A power outage east of Garberville is affecting about 130 PG&E customers and has taken KHSU's southern Humboldt signal off the air temporarily.
According to PG&E's outage center website, power is expected to be restyored by 1 pm Monday July 30th. The cause of the outage is unknown at this time.
KHSU listeners can try listening on the main 90.5 fm frequency or KHSU's Eel River Valley signal at 88.7 fm. The live stream is also available. Listeners tuning in to 89.9 in southern Humboldt may pick up an adjacent religious broadcaster's signal while power is off at our KHSG tower.
