Jeffrey Smoller from Making Headway Recovery Program Center stopped by the KHSU Magazine Show to talk with host Brian Curtis. Smoller explains the connection between the heart and the brain and how emotions can actually determine one's thought process.
"Listen to your heart," Smoller said as he discusses recent research of how the brain signals the heart. Making Headway Center offers specialized programs to people who have brain injuries. Their programs create opportunities for self-determination and self-sufficiency through outreach, education, and prevention.
