There are over 11 million people in the United States without proper documentation. Over 2 million are in California alone.
They are our neighbors, our friends, our co-workers. They are woven into the fabric of our society, a rich tapestry. They are two aisles over in the grocery store buying produce for their family, produce picked by undocumented farm workers. They are on a construction crew two houses down on your street. They have hopes and dreams, struggles and fears just as you do. Immigrant Voices is a new program facilitated by James Floss that brings their stories into your home, building a bridge between cultures.
Real names are not used. Some stories will be narrated by proxy vocal talent. The stories will air periodically as they come in.
