New York resident Treacy Ziegler talks with Wendy Butler about how her recent artworks have been influenced by her suffering from a physical malady and a decision she made six years ago to reach out to an entirely new audience.

Among the locations at which she displays art now are high-security prisons.

Ziegler’s “States of Waiting” is on display at Eureka’s Morris Graves Museum of Art through July 31.

Ziegler will also present an Art Talk at the museum this Sunday, July 3 at 2 p.m.
