A Shelter Crisis Declaration Can Provide Relief for Humboldt's Homeless

The Shelter Crisis Declaration would facilitate zoning and relax liability for the County, while making unused county land or buildings available to shelter people who are homeless. 

Edie Jessup and Nezzie Wade from Affordable Homeless Housing Alternatives (AHHA) went before the Humboldt County Board of Supervisors on February 27 to support a re-drafted Shelter Crisis Declaration.
