The three-day event will feature over 40 musical acts at Humboldt Brews January 30th through February 1st.
Organizers are asking local businesses to donate products or services for a silent auction.

Biden taps OSU professor Jane Lubchenco for top climate science role
Dr. Jane Lubchenco, a distinguished professor and former Obama administration official, has been appointed as the deputy director of climate and environment within the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy. Lubchenco told OPB that in her new role, she will help “bring good science to the policies that are being implemented, in addition to thinking about policies in a practical and sensible fashion.” This is the first time a presidential administration has elevated the Office of Science and Technology Policy to the cabinet level. We talk more with Lubcheno about her role and hopes for the future of climate change policy.

The Purple Heart is the most powerful symbol that a soldier has sacrificed for his or her country. For generations, the military has awarded Purple Hearts to soldiers wounded in action. But an investigation by NPR and ProPublica has found that Army commanders routinely deny Purple Hearts to soldiers who've suffered concussions from explosions -- even though Army regulations say they merit the award. Four soldiers have struggled to get Purple Hearts -- and medical help.
