Lost and Found Sound: The Pan American Blues
Lost and Found Sound today honors the upcoming 75th anniversary of the Grand Ole Opry with a story about WSM radio in Nashville, where the Opry got its start, and the Pan American passenger train. The regular passing of the Pan American was broadcast on WSM. And the train inspired singer/songwriter Deford Bailey, who performed on the night the Opry got its name.
