In 2011 the military learned her secret and she was given a choice: hide who she was, or sign a dishonorable discharge. Scott joins us to share her story of service, and how her transition led her to become the national trans rights activist she is today.

A large earthquake could be powerful enough to breach the Detroit Dam and cause disastrous flooding. The concerns have prompted the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to propose a plan to lower levels of Detroit Lake. The work would begin in April and the Corps is accepting public comments on the draft environmental assessment until March 30.
