Umatilla County sets up vaccine distribution clinic
Umatilla County Health Department set up a vaccine distribution clinic in a parking lot at the Pendleton Convention Center. Public Health Director Joseph Fiumara said they could distribute up to 1,000 vaccine doses in a day if they had access to them. But last week, Oregon officials found out the state would not get more doses from the federal government, because there was no federal supply. Now, the county isn’t sure when it will get new doses.
