Oregon environmental advocates keep a close eye on governor’s executive order
After Oregon Republicans walked out of the state Legislature to prevent the passage of a cap-and-trade bill for two sessions in a row, Gov. Kate Brown took action. She issued an executive order meant to accomplish some of the same goals of the failed legislation.
