After Oregon Republicans walked out of the state Legislature to prevent the passage of a cap-and-trade bill for two sessions in a row, Gov. Kate Brown took action. She issued an executive order meant to accomplish some of the same goals of the failed legislation. More than six months later, we hear from environmental advocates about how the executive order is working and what they still want to see from state government. Our guests are Meredith Connolly, Oregon director of Climate Solutions, and Martha Sonato, political director at PCUN, Oregon’s farm worker union.
