This week, we’ve decided to do another Cal Poly Humboldt Calypso Band episode, with a recording of the group performing “La Samba,” composed by Ray Obiedo and "Mariella's Dance" by Ray Holman.

This week we hear from drag rock band, Vegan Slaughterhouse — made up of members Komboujia on lead vocals, July on guitar and vocals and Mobius on drums, and listen to some of their tunes recorded at Outer Space Arcata.

This week we hear from local trio Harmonic Howl – made up of members Ruby Ruth George on vocals and guitar and vocalists Brianna Penner and Elle Penner – a group that has been out singing at many local protests and now has their first full set coming up during the SoHum Pride event on Jun 28.

This week we play the Cal Poly Humboldt Percussion Ensemble, performing "Lucid Mantra," composed by Dustin Schultza segment of "Make a Joyful Noise," composed by Ivan Trevino at the Fulkerson Recital Hall on Humboldt campus.
