Welcome to Heard in Humboldt on KHSU, a program where we play a range of live music recordings from Humboldt County.
Over the last couple of years, Good Day Humboldt in downtown Arcata has been home to a live music event called Good Evening Music Series, which features up and coming indie artists from Humboldt. This week we’re featuring a recording from that series of local singer songwriter Zach Gentry, captured during a show on April 25, featuring Gentry along with Bad Bromance and Luna Sofia. The song we’ll be hearing is entitled “First of the Year, and was recorded and mixed by local musician and engineer Chris Reynoso. So, without further ado, recorded live at good Day studios in Arcata, we hope you’ll enjoy “First of the Year” by Zach Gentry.
