Extreme drought grips 72% of Humboldt County, according to the U.S. Drought Monitor.

To alleviate water shortages, the Trinidad City Council will decide this Tuesday whether to collaborate with the Trinidad Rancheria to build a water pipeline from Mckinleyville, across Little River, to the city’s water plant. KHSU’s Eric Black reports.
