Mattole Grange Independence Days Dance and Beef and Bean BBQ
On Saturday night, July 4th, the Mattole Grange is hosting a speghetti dinner dance fundraiser, from 6 to 11PM, $10 per meal, beer and wine available for purchase. Music performed by the Breakers, a fun rock and roll dance band. $10 cover charge.
On Sunday afternoon, July 5th, there will be the annual Independence Day and 250th Anniversary Celebration BBQ event, starting at Noon sharp. Come on by and enjoy the famous locally sourced beef and beans served picnic style. Drawings, auctions, home-made pie booth, and kids games. Bring your own bowls, plates, silverware and side dishes. The historic Mattole Grange Hall is located next to A. W. Way Park on the Mattole Road between Honeydew and Petrolia. Over-night camping is available at A. W. Way Park. Adults - $20, kids 12 and under - $10.
