Danielle Orr

David Ferney tells Danielle Orr on the KHSU Magazine the he "hatched a plan" when he heard about Jenny Scheinman's Kannapolis: A Moving Portrait.  On Friday, April 5, 2019 at 7:30 pm, we here in Humboldt County have an opportunity to see feature filmmaker Finn Taylor's re-edited images of H. Lee Water's portraits of small towns and people of the southeast during the years 1936 to 1942 on a large screen with live performances of  internationally acclaimed musician Jenny Scheinman's score to the film, along with musicians Robbie Fulks and Robbie Gjersoe on the stage with Scheinman.  Presented in collaboration with The Arcata Playhouse and the Minor Theater. Tickets at arcataplayhouse.org and Wildberries and they will have a few tickets at the door as well. Reserved seating for this performance at the Arkley Center for the Performing Arts in Eureka.
