Join naturalist and Certified Nature and Forest Therapy Guide, Justin Legge, at Digawututklh, for an introduction to forest and nature mindfulness on Saturday, December 20 from 10:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m.. Tune into the mental and physiological benefits that nature can provide when you allow yourself to slow down outdoors. We will discuss and practice specific techniques to enable ourselves to receive as much benefit from nature, in as short a time as possible. Redwood Region Audubon Society will offer a free guided birding tour along the Eureka Waterfront Trail on Sundays with leader Ralph Bucher. This relatively urban trail offers the potential to observe species abundance and diversity compared to many more remote locations. This walk is on a flat, paved trail that is wheelchair accessible.
