Local singer, Fiona Gadd-Ryder, presents a variety of classic vocal literature in her first ever solo concert, accompanied by piano and flute. Since receiving her degree at Carnegie Mellon, she has connected with Humboldt's youth as a music teacher and musical theater performer, and is delighted to return to her roots on this concert with Italian and German art song, French opera, and more modern favorites. A portion of the proceeds will go to scholarships at HLOKidco, the performance education program that raised her and at which she now teaches.
