Heart Matter at The Arcata Playhouse - Jazz Quartet
Bay Area Jazz quartet, Heart Matter, Co-led by vocalist Amy D and vibraphonist Dillon Vado (A Marimba One Artist) are coming to the Arcata Playhouse May 1st at 7pm. With improvisatory elements of jazz and carefully crafted arrangements, alongside intimate lyrics, Heart Matter is electric and honest; akin to the musical sensibilities of Joni Mitchell, Esperanza Spalding, The Bad Plus, Zero 7, and Steely Dan.
