The community is warmly invited to The Lutheran Church of Arcata's Legendary Easter Breakfast this Sunday, April 9th, from 8 to 10 a.m. This "breakfast that time forgot" is offered freely, and will include all the immutable classics: melt-in-your-mouth roast ham, perfectly scrambled eggs (pure as the day they were laid), crispy-grilled hash browns, golden toast slathered deeply with butter, carafe-fresh Church coffee, that famous Lutheran orange juice of old, and, of course, a fantastic sideboard of the best homemade goodies this side of the Resurrection.

A festival worship service will be held immediately following breakfast in the church's redwood forest-ensconced sanctuary, and will be highlighted by special music—both traditional Lutheran hymns accompanied by the church’s German pipe organ, and contemporary music performed by the LCA Praise Band.
