Meet watercolor painter Carolyn Cook and ceramicist Elaine Shore. Carolyn Cook is captivated by the wild and diverse landscapes unique to our area and her work captures the variety of natural elements that draw our attention: reflections of wet sands, stormy skies, glorious sunsets and majestic redwoods. Elaine Shore works in porcelain and her current collection embraces the technique of “sgraffito” in which images are carved through a black underglaze to create striking white on black designs on the thrown ceramic forms.
