University of California Master Food Preservers and Master Gardeners Jennifer Bell and June Walsh will show you how to grow, harvest, and preserve garlic and fava beans, and you'll have the chance to taste some wonderful recipes highlighting their unique flavors!
Jennifer Bell has been a Master Food Preserver since 2012 and a Master Gardener since 2022. She is the project director for Food for Thought, producing films and podcasts about local food for over 15 years.
June Walsh has been a Master Gardener since 2010 and a Master Food Preserver since 2014. She is also co-curator of the Moss Family Temperate Woodland Garden at Humboldt Botanical Garden.
