November Science on Tap: Gray Wolves in California
We promise we're not crying wolf about this one🐺 😅 Join us for this month's Science on Tap on Friday, November 21st, to hear the REAL story about gray wolves in California.
We’re thrilled to host Nate Libal, CDFW Wolf Specialist, for a fascinating talk on gray wolf ecology and management in California. With 10 years of wolf management experience in Oregon and Wisconsin before joining CDFW, Nate brings serious field expertise. He'll discuss the recent history of wolf populations in California, current pack numbers and distribution, ongoing research, and the complex relationship between wolves and livestock.🐂
🍺The event kicks off at 6 PM! Arrive early to claim your spot and grab a local brew from Paskenta Mad River Brewery while you settle in.
💙All donations support Science on Tap and in-stream restoration projects by the Eel River Watershed Improvement Group—thank you for helping keep these events going strong!
☁️The weather is looking a bit cool, so dress accordingly. The tent will be up and the heat will be on. If you can, please carpool with friends as parking is limited.
