Humbrews Hosts “Pints for Nonprofits” Night to Benefit Godwit Days Festival
Arcata, CA, March 10, 2026 – Humbrews in Arcata will host a “Pints for Nonprofits”mfundraiser for the Godwit Days Spring Migration Bird Festival on Thursday, March 19, from 4–9 p.m., donating $1 from every pint of beer sold to support the festival. Humbrews is located at 856 10th St. in Arcata.
“Pints for Nonprofits is a fun way for the community to support the festival while enjoying a beverage and socializing at a great local brewpub,” said Gretchen O’Brien, a board member with Godwit Days. “Every pint helps make it possible for us to offer educational programs and fieldmtrips that connect people with the incredible diversity of birds and habitats in Humboldt County.”
Godwit Days is an annual festival celebrating the spring migration of the Marbled Godwit and
the remarkable diversity of bird species traveling the Pacific Flyway. Since its founding in 1996, the festival has become a cornerstone of environmental education and community engagement, drawing bird enthusiasts, nature lovers, and conservationists from near and far to Humboldt County.
The 2026 festival, April 16–19, will feature guided birding tours, nature excursions, workshops, and inspiring keynote speakers. The Arcata Community Center will serve as the festival hub, where visitors can explore art from local artists, browse optics and books, meet nonprofit organizations, and participate in a silent auction. One highlight will be a stunning display of more than 800 student bird art entries.
Community members are invited to join the Godwit Days crew at Humbrews on Thursday, March 19, starting at 4 p.m., to enjoy a pint and support Humboldt County’s cherished birding festival. More details and festival registration are available at www.godwitdays.org.
