Pollinator Party

Pollinator Party

Join Friends of the Dunes and partners for a fun-filled day on Saturday, July 18, from 11 am to 2 pm at the Humboldt Coastal Nature Center as we honor the tiny heroes behind blooming gardens and thriving ecosystems. As spring bursts into bloom, it’s time to celebrate the return of nature’s hardest-working insects! Join us for the Pollinator Party, a FREE, Spanish bilingual, family-friendly event designed to spotlight the vital role of insect pollinators in our environment. Pollinators like bees, butterflies, flies, beetles, and moths play a crucial role in plant reproduction, biodiversity, and food production. This spring, we're bringing together nature lovers of all ages for hands-on activities, native garden restoration, crafts, and presentations all aimed at raising awareness and appreciation for these essential insects.
