Prepare yourself for an immersive experience where music, conversation, and reverie intertwine, creating an unforgettable tapestry of sound and spirit. Storytime takes a captivating turn with the arrival of 60's psychedelic icons George Walker and Rhoney Stanley. Their tales, woven with wit and wisdom, transport the audience back to an era of counterculture and boundless creativity.

For the true collectors and enthusiasts, rare and unique Prankster merchandise will be available, offering a glimpse into the vibrant history of the Prankster movement.

Friday night music will be provided by Magnificent Sanctuary Band, local legends known for their infectious grooves and enchanting melodies. But the musical journey doesn't stop there. Special guests will grace the stage, each bringing their unique talents and styles to the mix.

You won’t want to miss the one-time-only performance by the all-star Prankster's Ball Band on Saturday. Led by renowned musicians Mark Karan (Ratdog), Scott Guberman (Phil Lesh & Friends), Greg Douglass (Steve Miller Band), Pete Ciotti (Nucleus, Grateful Getdown), and Norman Bradford (Grateful Getdown), this supergroup will take the stage to deliver a musical feast like no other. Their setlist promises to ignite the senses with beloved classics from the Steve Miller Band and The Grateful Dead catalogs, as well as a selection of carefully curated covers that pay homage to the spirit of the era.

But the experience doesn't end there. Attendees are invited to participate in a unique and collaborative art project—decorating a 1981 VW Vanagon Westfalia on-site. This communal endeavor offers a hands-on opportunity to add one's own creative touch to a symbol of the Prankster ethos.

Merry Prankster, logistics man to renegade novelist Ken Kesey, Indy race-team owner, sailor, Oregonian, kazooist, restorer of ancient buses, preserver of ancient memories, yachtsman to the stars, alleged beneficiary of David Crosby greasing palms to erase a drug case, elusive all-American playboy character in Tom Wolfe’s breakthrough Electric Kool-Aid Acid Test, trust fund kid, preacher of eco-consciousness, squanderer of privilege, rethinker of privilege, descendent of America’s pioneers of filbert (hazelnut) orchards, nostalgist, casual cultist, son of the dead, father of the dead, spirit medium to the Beatnik proto-man, mythological maintenance man, anachronism, cautionary tale, and psychedelic financier of the very moment the American eagle began flying not east, not west, but directly over the cuckoo’s nest.”

Rhoney Stanley
Rhoney served as assistant and partner of Owsley "Bear" Stanley in the clandestine laboratories where they synthesized the LSD that invigorated the psychedelic revolution and counterculture movement of the hippies. Author of Owsley and Me: My LSD Family, her unique vantage point provides an exceptional insider's perspective on the behind-the-scenes events that shaped an entire generation.

Mark Karan
Mark is best known for performing with the extended Grateful Dead family. He has anchored the lead guitar slot in Bob Weir & RatDog, playing hundreds of shows to thousands of fans year-round.
