Swashbuckling Adventure Comes to Ferndale

Sherwood: The Adventures of Robin Hood brings sword fights, romance, and laughter to the Ferndale Rep stage this April.

Ferndale, CA – Ferndale Repertory Theatre invites audiences to journey deep into Sherwood Forest with Ken Ludwig’s Sherwood: The Adventures of Robin Hood, running April 3 through April 26.

This fast-paced and wildly entertaining comedy reimagines the legendary tale of Robin Hood with wit, heart, and plenty of swashbuckling fun. Packed with thrilling sword fights, flying arrows, romance, and unforgettable characters like Little John, Friar Tuck, and Maid Marian, this spirited adventure tells the enduring story of a hero who stands up for the people against the ruthless powers that be.

Whether you grew up loving the Robin Hood legend or are discovering it for the first time, Sherwood delivers a bold theatrical ride filled with humor, action, and heart.

This production is sponsored in honor of Marilyn McCormick, celebrating her lasting impact on Ferndale Repertory Theatre.

Cast & Creative Team

Directed by Tyler Egerer, Sherwood: The Adventures of Robin Hood features a lively cast of local performers bringing this legendary tale to life.

The cast includes Amadeus Garcia Brown, Emma Sickles, Nick Hendrix, Michele Simms, Kyra Newell, Jaye Templeton, Mark Middleton, Hope Beattie, Doranna “Dar” Benker-Gilkey, Noe Araiza, and Queena DeLany.

The creative team includes Tyler Egerer (Director), Shaylyn Heitzman (Costume Designer), Maggy Thursday Koeppel (Props Designer), Dillon Tucker (Sound Designer), Santiago Menjivar (Lighting Designer), and Carl McGahan (Scenic Designer), with assistance from Carin Billings (Scenic Projections). Miah Carter serves as Stage Manager.
