The Alpha Rhythm Kings swing band play the Historic Eagle House Ballroom in Eureka
The Redwood Coast Music Festival presents San Francisco’s Alpha Rhythm Kings at the Eagle House Led by former Humboldt resident Rob Dehlinger
Rob Dehlinger and his Alpha Rhythm Kings will bring jump blues, hot swing, vintage lounge and boogie woogie with a style reminiscent of Louis Jordan and Louis Prima to the Historic Eagle House Ballroom, on Thursday, March 7.
The show will go from 7 to 10 p.m. The Eagle House Ballroom is located at Second and C streets in Old Town Eureka. It is produced by the nonprofit Redwood Coast Music Festival
Based in San Francisco, the three-piece horn section sextet, plays top jazz dance clubs in the San Francisco Bay area as well as Las Vegas and New York City.
Dehlinger, who grew up in Humboldt and took music classes at Sunny Brae Middle School, was the former trumpeter/vocalist with Stompy Jones, a popular swing band at the Redwood Coast Music Festival.
