Vintage Magazine Sale
On Saturday, May 3, the Friends of the Redwood Libraries will hold a one-day sale of vintage magazines from a private collection. The sale will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. in the large meeting room at the Eureka Library, 1313 Third St. The magazines cover the years from 1870 to 1960 and include both bound volumes and individual issues. Among those included are Colliers, Saturday Review, Atlantic Monthly, Scientific American, Popular Science, Littell's Living Age, Architectural Record, and Newsweek. Most items are priced in the 25 cents to $2.00 range.
Payment may be by cash or check: small bills appreciated. Credit cards accepted for purchases over $5.00. Proceeds benefit the entire Humboldt County Library system.
