Race Beat: PEOTUS Trump

Host Lorna Bryant is joined by HSU undergrad Karla Sanchez, graduate student Carlos Sanchez, and Dr. Marisol Ruiz, assistant professor at HSU’s School of Education to talk about the personal and political implications of a Trump presidency.

Karla Sanchez is the president of F.R.E.E., an HSU club that, among other things, supports and assists undocumented students.
When Carlos Sanchez returns to his Oregon hometown, "you see confederate flags flying all over town." He adds, "because of this election and what Donald Trump has brought, it's made it more explicit."
