Over 200 local High School students took to the Arcata Plaza in solidarity with students globally to participate in the Global Youth Climate Strike. Students walked out of class at 10:00 am and marched to the Arcata Plaza. @ahsforclimateaction is the instagram account to see photos!
Following in the footsteps of Greta Thunberg, a 16 year old student from Sweden who has been sitting-in at Stockholm's Parliment House once a week since last August, students from over 40 countries were expected to participate.
