"You Can't Read That!" Banned Books Week

Humboldt State University's fifth Banned Books Week events start Septemeber 23rd. Marcy Burstiner, HSU journalism professor and chair of the Humboldt Center for Human Rights, Violet McCrigler from the HSU Library and Nicki Viso, HSU Student Life Coordinator and a Library Science Masters Student talked about the event on teh KHSU Magazine.

The centerpiece of the week is the Banned Books Read Out on Wednesday October 26th. Community members can sign up at the HSU Library website here.  People can also attend and decide to read from a banned book at the event.
