Researchers Hope Seeds Can Hold Back Southern California Beach Erosion

Let's consider the beaches of Southern California: flat and wide, with smooth sand and breezes that lap over a beautiful blue ocean, an ocean that is expected to flood the coast as sea levels rise between seven inches to two feet over the next thirty years. So how can California protect itself against coastal flooding while maintaining it's natural beauty? Maybe a bag of seeds?
