A new report from the Portland City Ombudsman finds that the Bureau of Emergency Communications has been miscounting how long it takes to answer 911 calls.
We learn about the challenges facing people in the Rosewood neighborhood, which straddles East Portland and Gresham. We talked to the folks who began the Rosewood Initiative about five years ago with the goal of creating community and reducing crime. The Rosewood community center has just relaunched, and we’ll learn how far the neighborhood has come in five years.
