It's really hot outside, so why can't this pregnant mother order a plate of sushi and a cold glass of wine? "The Four Top" explores food warnings for pregnant women in Episode 25.

Have pity on pregnant women this time of year: Their feet are swollen, their backs ache, and they can't relax with a plate of sushi and a glass of ice-cold rosé without risking public condemnation. Has society gone too far in placing food restrictions on soon-to-be mothers?

Next, in honor of barbecue season, we take a look at some of the strange new entries in the faux meat category. They might be better for the planet than a hamburger, but can we stomach them?

Finally, today's hot diet trend has a name that implies smug superiority, eco-friendliness and superlative health benefits. But experts are warning that "clean eating" is not all it's cracked up to be.

Meet our panelists: Tove Danovich covers food and sustainability for publications such as Eater, Bon Appétit, The Atlantic, Fast Company and NPR. And Virginia Gewin, is a journalist focusing on food security and crop diversity; her work appears in publications such as Nature, Science and Modern Farmer. Our host is Katherine Cole.
