How S.F. Killing Became Part of the U.S. Immigration Debate

Over the next few weeks, The California Report will be reporting on a murder trial that’s become a flash point in the debate over immigration. The victim is Kathryn Steinle. She was killed in San Francisco. By all accounts, Steinle was a smart, generous, warm and giving person. That part is straight forward.
