Today marks the 20th anniversary of Oregon’s Death With Dignity law. We listen back to an interview with Dr. Peter Rasmussen, a Salem oncologist who was one of the first proponents of Death With Dignity. Rasmussen used the law to end his own life in 2015 after suffering from a brain tumor.
