The Yaquina Estuary is one of the only places on the Oregon coast where native oysters can thrive.

Scott Bruun, Lisa Bates and Jim Moore join us for analysis and opinion on some of the week’s big stories on the news roundtable.

A fundraiser in Portland aims to produce 20,000 oyster shells to help create habitat for native oysters in Netarts and Yaquina bays. Lyf Gildersleeve, of Flying Fish Company, and Esther Lev, of the Wetlands Conservancy, explain the ecological benefit of Olympia oysters.
