We talk with Portlander Josh Alpert, who grew up in the Pittsburgh Tree of Life synagogue, about how he’s processing the fatal shooting there — thought to be the deadliest attack targeting the Jewish community in U.S. history. Portland has released the results of a new survey of people who have ridden e-scooters. The scooters will be around until at least November 20, when the trial run is over. John Brady from the Portland Bureau of Transportation joins us to tell us what the city has learned so far.
