Priyanka Chopra Jonas—Bollywood superstar, Miss World winner and one of Time‘s “Most Influential People In The World“—recently debuted a YouTube special titled If I Could Tell You Just One Thing, in which she asks other inspirational women to do just that. Chopra Jonas explains that her motivation to do the show came from reaching her mid-thirties, getting married to Nick Jonas and “trying to figure out where I go next, what I do next, what’s the next phase of my life?”
To help her do that, Chopra Jonas goes on an interview journey around Los Angeles, hanging out with Olympic gymnast Simone Biles (and her two very cute dogs), getting into some very awkward karaoke with actress, comedian and rapper Awkwafina (including some FaceTime with her “problematic” grandma) and modeling looks for fashion icon Diane von Furstenberg.
Chopra Jonas is a warm and open interviewer, and all three of her guests share some wisdom that will stick with you. Most comfortingly, all four of these women demonstrate that there’s no such thing as perfect and speak about their insecurities, their failures and their philosophies in a manner that is both disarming and inspiring and will most likely imbue you with a surprising sense of invincibility. “I’ve never met a woman who is not strong,” von Furstenberg casually observes. “They don’t exist.”
