Sammy Shore — actor, stand-up comedian, and co-founder of LA’s Comedy Store — died Saturday. He was 92. He co-founded the world-famous Comedy Store with his writing partner and his first wife in 1972. The Sunset Strip institution launched many comics’ careers: Robin Williams, Jerry Seinfeld, Garry Shandling, Jim Carrey, to name a few.
