“Smoke from the Kincade Fire is expected to continue to impact air quality in the northern portion of the Bay Area closest to the fires. Air quality is expected to improve for the rest of the region although smoke from local fires could have potential impacts. Wildfire smoke is unpredictable and changes as weather and wind conditions shift. Residents should still be on alert and if they smell smoke, stay indoors with windows and doors closed,” according to the BAAQMD.
A Spare the Air Alert is in effect Thursday.
