A tax put forth by Metro is expected to bring in up to $250 million per year to support people who are homeless in Multnomah, Clackamas and Washington counties. The Tri-County Recovery Coalition is asking Metro for more representation of people who have experienced homelessness, mental illness and substance abuse recovery to advise their efforts to address homelessness. The coalition includes various organizations that focus on addiction and recovery services. We hear from Tony Vezina and Miguel Tellez, both members of the coalition who work in recovery based services.
