Not So Fast…

Chico State University students were welcomed to campus for limited in-person classes, then came a spike in COVID-19 cases.

School administrators have now given students one week to move out of residence halls, though they say they will work with students who need more time.

University president Gayle Hutchinson announced the decision to close most on-campus housing and return to online instruction after cases tied to the campus, “ballooned to nearly 30.

Now comes the even harder part . . . students securing housing in a region still feeling the housing impacts of the Camp Fire that destroyed nearby Paradise.
