How Oregon is taking attendance during online learning

Most Oregon students are not attending school in person right now.
Elizabeth Miller/OPB
Most Oregon students are not attending school in person right now.

What counts as “attending” online school and how are different districts handling that? We hear from Jennifer Patterson, assistant superintendent of the Office of Teaching Learning and Assessment at the Oregon Department of Education and Alexa Pearson, director of Standards and Instructional Support at ODE.
